About Us

The owner of Bella's House is Robin Showerman of Burlington, North Carolina.

Robin is married to Scotty and has four children. Teenagers TO and Stewart Johnson, and elementary students Mickey and Emma Showerman.

Robin saw the need for a quality consignment store in the Burlington area and started what has now become an exciting place to visit in Downtown Burlington.

Bella's House originally opened October of 2005 in a small shop on West Davis Street.
The incredible response from Burlington patrons that wanted to consignment sell their furniture created the need for a larger space. The space on East Front Street was previously occupied for thirty years by Newton Furniture. Robin hopes to have many years of successful furniture moving in and out of the space as well. Regular shoppers realize how fast items in the store will sell because Robin does such an excellent job of displaying the items that you can picture the pieces in your own home.

"I should have bought it when I saw it yesterday" is the term that Robin loves to hear from her customers. Unfortunately Robin cannot replicate the same piece. Everything in the store is on consignment and she cannot order another one just like it.
